Window displays, events, brand staging, offices and business spaces have shaped my approach to design over many years.
2005/2006 · Training / First Window Displays · Cartier
For Cartier, we designed and built promotional displays for an event and installed them on site.
This is where I first began to see how colour, material and staging can make a brand visible in space.

Temporary spaces taught me early on how quickly atmosphere has to take shape — and how much design can do.

Here, staging increasingly became design for everyday use: functional, individual and created for the people who use the space every day.

One space, a distinctive setting and a specific occasion — the design had to bring everything together without overpowering the place itself.

When a Space Needs to Do More
Not every project is commercial. Some spaces simply need to do a lot with very little.
